I'm guessing that the auditions go mostly by how good they are and then what they look like, cause they can so easily change hair color, eye color etc. 

Some pictures of Robert are really flatering and you can totally picture him as Edward, but some are not!!

 

And the girl whose playing Rosalie is really attractive, but not in a Rosalie way. Girls just didnt look like that in the time period that she came from, she looks much more modern then youd think Rosalie would. But I guess the Cullens would try to blend in with everything, including fashion and hair styles...

 

The girl playing Alice I think looks good! In those promo pictures they have she looks so good, and it looks like shes got the attitude is down right!

Okay, so.

 

When i first saw the picture of Robert on Stephenie Meyers website i freaked. i was soo mad that he wasn't a super dreamy stud, wich i pictured him to be. But no, i am in love with him. i think he's great for the part. And the clip with his american accent about the spider monkey is hilarious, and weird. but overall, i think hes great. i think if most people give it time, they would like him too. :]

Oh yes!! I totally agree, after seeing the trailer there is no going back! Rob was so serious and perfect! I never expected him to be like that because in my head I always think of Edward anime style, which is totally wrong cause he is a very serious character.

I wish the other Cullens were in the teaser trailer so we could see how they are portraying their rolls, but the little we saw of Emmet looked cool. He looked really scary and intimidating, like he is in the beginning!
